bios version : OFOA

C'est tout ce que j'ai trouvé car y'a rien sur le n° dans le bios, mais je vias continuer a chercher quand meme defois que je trouve.

Bon alors après traduction de mon pauvre anglais je déduis que je peut pas mettre plus de 6.4 Go sur mon portable ? c'est bien ca ?

Bon ben en ce qui concerne la taille max, on sait qu'on peux mettre un disque dur de 6.4Gb.

Mainteant reste a savoir si on peux monter encore plus haut:
Pour ça j'ai besoin d'aide je crois qu'il y a différent palier mais je ne m'en rapelle plus. (en fonction du mode du disque de LBA et autre...)

Si quelqu'un sais quelque chose a çe sujet. Moi pas.

Et je pense que la vitesse de l'interface IDE doit aussi entré en jeu.
Faudrais savoir si la vitesse est identique entre les deux disques dur (le defect, et le futur.)

Le problème est maintenant de trouver la personne qui sait tout ca, mais merci kan meme xinform3n car avec tout ce que g appris g pas mal avancé quand meme

j'ai eu un compaq presario 1203, et j'y ai mis un 20Go.
Par contre pour les 40Go tu risques de trouver la limite des 32Go.

edit : presario 1203 -> celeron 600, 64 Mo RAM, 6.4Go DD, WinMe (le tout en janvier 2000)

Vi just y a un palier a 32Gb c'est juste
Je crois qu'il y a:
- 4.1Gb
- 32Gb

Il dois y en avoir d'autre mais je ne m'en rapelle plus.

Pi aps de problème je me suis bien marré a chatter avec Nitta rofl.

Bon je pense que je vias prendre un 40 car de toute facon il est moin cher que le 20 et puis si je perd un peu de capacité tant pis
